"Probably wouldn't help," Hadyn muttered around the cigarette as the doors opened and Hadyn led them outside of the build. He reached up with his left hand, raking his fingers through his hair as he took a deep breath.
"You should go," he said after a moment, pulling the cigarette from his lips as he leaned against Elisha. He didn't want to stay, and it took a lot of self-control to not just crawl back into the car with Elisha. But it really wouldn't have helped. If anything, doing just that would make it worse, and he knew it.
"I should talk to him," he said, softly as he pulled away from Elisha. "I can call after. Then you can get me drink, and help me forget how much I hate my life. Because I do, I do hate it right now. I just...need you to understand that."
