He didn't want to fight either. He was, Elisha thought, Worried. And tired. And on some kind of an edge, and he'd never expected the the situation they'd walked into this morning - the situation Hadyn had sent him away from and walked right back into.

Hadyn must have known what kind of thing was going to happen. Elisha, on the other hand, hadn't even known enough to imagine this.

He sighed. "Not now," he agreed. "But Hadyn, if we're going to be together...you're going to have to talk to me. You can't just assume that I'm too...removed to understand."
