"His sister is a grad student at UCSD," he said, smiling despite everything. "She was one of the leads in Hamilton." Which was obviously as far explaining their first night as Gael was going to get into.

"He's also...in the Navy." He said, "so...I don't know. Probably won't last forever." He sniffed a little more, before he scrubbed his hair. "And....I like him. He probably thinks I'm so kid to pass time with, but...I like him."

It was just a thing, he guessed.

"I'll go, you know...to therapy. I think they have a free service on the campus."
