"My parents literally have never spoiled me. I had to earn everything, honestly, and it was rather annoying. Hadyn in particular was big on that, though I suppose I should be thankful he was not the nightmare my grandmother was supposed to have been." Not that he'd ever heard from Hadyn about her. Rather it had been others who spoke plainly about the sort of torturous life she'd inflicted on both his father and uncle- sibling rivalry, sense of family before all else.
The sort of impact it had had Hadyn was both easy and difficult to see at times. Hadyn was like hardened steel when it came to training, and when it came to the more underhanded aspects of the suit- things most people had little realization that he dealt with. But his father had long handled the dirtier things that their current Jack seemed blind to. Other times a person could see the softer side of Hadyn, the one he'd long cultivated and perfected with a warm, gentle smile that made his dark eyes sparkle. Ty imagined that if someone had to describe the sort of weapon Hadyn was...he was a sharp blade that fit into one's hand so perfectly it could never fail.
"My parents were interesting, really. Hadyn, perhaps, more so at times. He's like a roller coaster, or was...things are more even keel these days, but when I was younger..." Ty shook his head a little, thinking back on it. "Elisha has a flair about him that Hadyn certainly compliments, but at the end of the day I feel like he is far more predictable. And he spoiled us a little, I guess. He doted on Sarah, in particular. She's the princess, different rules and all that. Different expectations. As such, the rest...."
Well, the rest of the clubs it seemed wanted to make up from the pressure that two powerful fathers could create for a young son. So he'd always been well guarded, and well looked after. Perhaps in the most annoying sense of the matter.
