"Now you just take all the fun out of my eventful torture sessions." Hadyn said with a bit of a sardonic tone as squatted down and started hunting out his shirt. Glancing up he could see his mother, frowning as she was stopped by David and engaged in a rather unhappy conversation. The King of Spades had more than once caused a few issues between Hadyn and his mother- the first of which had been David's decision to recruit Hadyn into his merry band of spies. Larueline had not been pleased- but then, Hadyn supposed, his mother was never pleased with anything Hadyn did with his time.
"What do you suppose that conversation is like?" He asked his brother, glancing up at the other man before jutting his chin out a little in the King and their mother's direction. "Aside from David trolling her for the 100th time this year." Hadyn, really, rather wished David would stop that. It did, however, only seem to amuse David more when Hadyn asked as much.
"I'm surprised she showed, actually. She usually doesn't even listen to me when I tell her things. Like 'oh, I am going to challenge to nine.'" His was a complicated relationship with his family. His whole family. As expected, outside of Jordan, no Novak showed for support.
