"Well, I think you can manage that." Gael pleaded really prettily, and while Carlos very much doubted that the pleading was the same with the theatre director closer to his father's age as it was with him, he didn't doubt at all that Gael could very convincing to man who was already pretty convinced that Gael was his only decent lead.

Whether that was actually true or not was another thing. Carlos doubted it, really, but the directors all had their favorites.
