"Love, please. What you mean is a sexy club." Which was entirely true. Still, he didn't have vehement opinions about Chelsea's dominance - mostly because he didn't have much of an opinion one way or the other about the English Premiere league.
He relaxed more into himself as they got towards the bottom of the bottle, and while Carlos Sanchez would never be remotely extroverted, his laughter and smiles became easier as the other patrons came and went around them.
"I like wine alright," he said, though Gael hadn't asked. It was nice, he thought, hearing Gael talk about his family. He'd not seen Noelle in years, since he'd left home, and he only knew Daniel from the night he'd spent by Gael in Carlos' apartment. "Better than beer, but really I prefer a cocktail over either one." He leaned back as Gael asked his question, smiling back at him. "Well, I don't go on many. We live in the land of hookups, darling." Hookups that usually then turned into something serious without the players noticing - or fizzled out entirely. "I like to go dancing, though. Either clubbing or...you know Carnivale? I like to go there."
He tilted his head, considering a little as the waitress took away the empty tray their pizza had been on. "If you got a tattoo tonight," he asked finally, "what would it be?" He had several himself. Ink didn't cover him, but there were enough to make it clear that Carlos enjoyed the art and didn't mind the pain.
