Jordan shoved him back again. He was, he realized, the stronger of them now. For the first time in his life, he was the stronger of the two of them. He clenched his fists in Dominic's shirt and dodged his head as his father threw a punch at his face. The glancing blow connected, and Jordan had felt it often enough that he knew it would bruise. It didn't give him pause, though, as he started dragging his screaming father towards the door. "You're going to leave now," he said. "And you're not going to come back."
If he did, he thought, he'd do what he'd always been afraid of before. He'd call the police.
