"Sweetheart, I'm well aware that you enjoy loud, kinky sex. We've had loud, kinky sex." She wasn't sure she'd be entirely be surprised by how kinky, honestly. She and Gaël might have only scratched the surface, but that didn't mean she couldn't see underneath the surface. "Anyway, I'm capable of leaving the apartment. Or investing in soundproofing, if it comes to that."
Part of it was she wanted Gaël to feel safe, and she thought - hoped - that she could make him feel safe. But part of it was that it got lonely, living by herself. She felt a little separated from her family after her years away. So this was for her, too.
"Love?" She said, though, leaning her elbow on the counter. "Yes. I do. I mean, my dads...honestly, they shouldn't have made it, I don't think. There are a lot of reasons they should have broken up. But they haven't, and I think it's because they love each other." She smiled a little bit. "I don't know if love is real for me, darling. But I think it's real."
She watched him for a moment, her expression a bit unreadable before she smiled. Was Gaël, she wondered, falling for Carlos? She hoped he wasn't falling for Oliver, because she was pretty sure Ty was. Either way, she wouldn't ask as much; for one, he'd never admit it either way. "Is your dad trying to turn you into a romantic again?" She asked instead. "I've never met a more romantic Spade, I don't think." Well, that she wasn't related to, at least.
