[Gael/Sarah] Roses and Virtues
She couldn't blame either of her dads for waiting to call her until the next day. Elisha had, she imagined, had Carlos and Ty and Oliver to deal with, on top of Gaël. Then Daniel Prochazka, then Noëlle almost first thing the next morning. Hadyn had had...well, the theatre. And with all the dramatics, it was natural that no one thought to call the person on the periphery of the situation until she'd been making coffee in the apartment above her store. Patrick Zeitlin hadn't seen her with Gaël, after all.
Though she couldn't help but think - if she hadn't been so distracted with the suite of jewelry she was designing for a new bride in the Diamonds, and had let Gaël drag her away from her blowtorch and welding materials, would they all have been better off? Then, at least, with Ollie calling Ty too, that bastard would have been hopelessly outnumbered, and she might have been the one to make sure he was dead. Sarah wasn't usually one for might have beens, but she couldn't help considering the possibilities as she stood in her kitchen letting her coffee get cold. Was she isolating herself from her family by living away from the Castle? How was it that Gaël's insane ex hadn't even seen her? How did she get to a place where she was so apart from what was happening to her friends - and her family, because Carlos was as much her brother as Ty was. Those increasingly turbulent thoughts were why, in the end, she listened to Daddy, and didn't rush into Carlos' suite at Club Castle. She leaned on her stores of patience instead, and waited.
Waited until Dr. Prochazka and Gaël had gone back to the Victorian style house she'd spent half her teenage years in before she showed up at the door, a ridiculously cheerful bouquet in hand and a smile pasted on her face that didn't reach her worried dark eyes. "If I'm the first person to bring you flowers, love," she said though, "then I'm worried that our friends don't really get you, and I'm just going to have to retrain them. Of course, Ty is hopeless, but I've got hope for Oliver and Carlos."

Ah well, he will wasn't going to worry too much about it as he thought about it. "And no, I wouldn't want a threesome with Noelle, even if it is different. She is actually related to me, and Carlos is not related to you. But fine, your point is taken." He smirked. "No more suggestions of a threesome."

She leaned her chin on her hand, though, smirking a little bit. "I'm sorry, baby," she said. "I'm just crushing all your dreams today."
no subject
But she was right, she was ruining all his dreams. "You've supposed to be telling me all the wonderful things about me, love. I've been through the worlds worst...." And joking about it certainly made it easier for him to deal with. But otherwise, things went as things normally went. "Fine, I'll have to find someone else hot to do a threesome with."

The whole thing was ridiculous, of course, but maybe ridiculous was what Gaël needed. He wasn't, Sarah thought, going to talk about it right now. All she could really do was banish the shadows from his eyes.

He grinned as he looked across the room and considered his options. "I could certain go for some of those Novaks though. It would be lovely I think. Mm. Could you nudge Sebastian in my direction, do you think?"
no subject
"There's a lot of pretty on both the Novak and Bernard sides," she said as she watched him pace around the kitchen. "Simon would probably go for it. He's game for about anything. Of course, so's Sebastian, honestly." That boy, she thought, a good three years younger than Sarah was, had nonetheless, apparently seduced a Spade around Noëlle's age. And a bit like Gaël, he didn't discriminate by gender.

And he did not even care if Sarah was grossed out by that. Because it was likely going to be delicious. So very delicious. "You know, I feel like I might have a sex problem. But I am also completely unwilling to do anything about it."

And if there was anything more dangerous than a bored Novak or Kagan - well, it was probably a bored Fox or Prochazka-Shaw, really. "Dearest, you have a sex addiction. It's okay. We love you for it."
no subject
And that was, without a doubt, a very honest statement from Gael Shaw's lips.

Even if it was probably a bad idea. He wasn't blind, he could see the way Carlos would look at him when the man thought he wasn't paying attention. "Maybe next time, darling."
